How to Delete a Temporary Windows Profile

Ever logged into a machine or a server and seen a pop up say, you have logged into a temporary profile? Well this is how you remove that issue.

  1. Hit the Windows logo key + R.
  2. Type regedit
  3. Browse out to the following location,
  4. You will see a list of profiles. Delete the one with the extension .BAK. Make sure you don’t delete any other profiles.
  5. The reboot your machine.

After that you should be all set to go.
